Founded by Southern Illinois native and lifelong outdoorsman Jon Bray, H2O Imaging was born from a passion for the hunt and a love of innovation. Growing up in the Shawnee National Forest, Jon learned early the art of blending in with nature — a skill that inspired him to explore new ways to camouflage his hunting gear. After discovering hydrographics in 2005, he began perfecting the process of applying durable, custom designs to firearms and bows.

By January 2006, H2O Imaging was officially established, combining Jon’s 25+ years as a wildlife artist with cutting-edge hydrographic technology. What began as a way to conceal weapons in the field has evolved into a full-scale customization studio, offering endless design options for firearms, automotive parts, and more — from traditional camouflage to sleek carbon fiber and modern prints.

Today, H2O Imaging continues to bring originality and craftsmanship to every project, helping customers express their individual style while staying connected to the outdoors. When he’s not creating in the shop, Jon enjoys time with his wife, daughters, and grandsons — and, of course, a little time in the woods.
